Both allergies and intolerances are very different. Allergies are more severe and usually immediate. Allergies are also usually life long. However, an intolerance is less severe and can change with time. In addition to this, the symptoms can appear from 10 minutes to 48 hours after consuming the food. So any known allergies will not show upon this result.
